What working conditions is the K37-5.36-2.2-M3 reducer splash lubrication system suitable for?

The K37-5.36-2.2-M3 reducer belongs to a small hard tooth surface reducer with a power of 2.2kW, a transmission ratio of 5.36, and an installation form of M3 (flange installation). Its splash lubrication system relies on gear rotation with oil to achieve lubrication. The structure is simple and the maintenance cost is low. Combined with its own parameter characteristics, it is suitable for the following working scenarios:

1. Continuous or intermittent operating conditions with medium to low power and rated load

The designed power of this model of reducer is 2.2kW, which belongs to the category of medium and small power. The oil supply of the splash lubrication system can fully meet the lubrication requirements under rated load (≤ 100% rated torque). Whether it is intermittent operation within 8 hours per day (such as assembly line conveying equipment, small packaging machinery), or continuous operation for 24 hours (such as small fans, light load conveying pumps), as long as the load is stable and not overloaded, the oil mist and droplets generated by the gear oil can fully lubricate the meshing tooth surface and bearings, while taking away the operating heat and avoiding component overheating and wear.

Attention: It is strictly prohibited to use it under long-term overload (>110% rated load) or impact load conditions, otherwise the oil film strength is insufficient, which can easily cause tooth surface adhesion and bearing erosion faults.

2. Stable operating conditions with low to medium speeds and minimal speed fluctuations

The transmission ratio of this reducer is only 5.36, and the speed difference between the high-speed and low-speed gears is small. The speed of the low-speed gear is in the middle and low range, which can ensure sufficient oil carrying capacity without causing excessive oil stirring resistance or abnormal oil temperature rise due to high speed.

Suitable for stable operation scenarios with a fluctuation amplitude of ≤ ± 20% in rotational speed, such as small conveying equipment with fixed rotational speed, lightweight mixers, etc; It can also be adapted to variable frequency speed regulation conditions, but the minimum operating speed must be controlled to not be less than 60% of the design speed to prevent insufficient oil carrying capacity of the gears at low speeds, which may cause lubrication failure.

3. Working conditions for installation with horizontal or small inclination angle (≤ 15 °)

The installation form of this model is M3 flange installation, and the splash lubrication system is adapted to horizontal installation conditions by default. At this time, the oil level in the oil pool is uniform, and the depth of immersion of the low-speed large gear tooth root in the oil is stable at 1/3~1/2 of the tooth height, with the best oil carrying effect.

If the on-site layout requires installation with a small inclination angle (inclination angle ≤ 15 °), the lubrication needs can still be met by recalibrating the oil level (adding an auxiliary oil level gauge) and adjusting the oil level in the oil tank; But it is not suitable for high inclination or vertical installation conditions, otherwise the oil distribution will be uneven, and the oil carrying capacity of the gear will be greatly reduced.
