What are the common errors during the installation of FAF37-0.75KW-8.2 reducer
When installing the FAF37-0.75KW-8.2 reducer, common errors and corresponding precautions are as follows:
1. Coaxiality out of tolerance installation: Failure to calibrate the coaxiality between the motor and gearbox, as well as between the gearbox and the load, using a dial gauge resulted in forced coupling, causing the coupling to be biased, leading to bearing overheating and increased gear wear. Ensure that the radial coaxiality is ≤ 0.05mm and the angular deviation is ≤ 0.1 °.
2. Incomplete treatment of the reference surface: residual oil stains, rust, burrs, or insufficient flatness on the installation surface, deformation of the housing after fastening, and damage to the internal gear meshing accuracy. It needs to be polished and cleaned according to the standard, with a flatness error of ≤ 0.1mm/m.
3. Improper tightening of anchor bolts: excessive tightening torque or disorderly sequence of bolts can cause deformation of the base; If the torque is too small, it will loosen and vibrate during operation. It is necessary to tighten the torque strictly according to the instructions in diagonal cross order.

4. Lubricating oil filling error: The oil level is too high or too low, or lubricating oil with a different grade is added, resulting in rapid temperature rise and lubrication failure after startup. Lubricating oil of the specified brand in the instruction manual needs to be added, and the oil level should be controlled at the centerline of the oil window.
5. Breathable plug not opened: After installation, the breathable plug was not unscrewed, resulting in an increase in internal pressure during operation and the inability to dissipate heat, leading to a surge in oil temperature and oil seal leakage. Ensure that the breathable plug is completely unscrewed to maintain smooth ventilation.
6. Neglecting the clearance of the braking device (if equipped with YEJ motor): Improper adjustment of the brake pad clearance results in continuous friction and heat generation during operation, which is then transmitted to the gearbox. Adjust the brake clearance to the standard value according to the motor manual.
7. Insufficient installation space: Insufficient ventilation space is reserved around the reducer, preventing heat accumulation from dissipating. Ensure a ventilation space of ≥ 30cm around and keep away from heat sources.
