How to repair the worn output shaft of XLD27-59-3KW cycloidal pinwheel reducer

The wear of the output shaft of XLD27-59-3KW cycloidal pinwheel reducer can be repaired according to the following methods:

Analysis and determination of wear parts: First, disassemble relevant components such as the output shaft end cover and coupling, remove the output shaft from the reducer, carefully inspect the wear of the output shaft, determine whether it is bearing wear, keyway wear, or other parts wear, measure the size and degree of wear, and provide a basis for subsequent maintenance.

Bearing wear and maintenance

Post weld processing: If the wear is not too severe, repair welding can be used. First, clean, remove oil and rust from the worn parts, then use suitable welding rods for repair welding. After repair welding, perform machining such as turning and grinding to restore the size of the bearing position to the specified accuracy, and the surface roughness should also meet the requirements.

Electric brush plating or spraying: For situations with small wear, electric brush plating is a better method that can deposit a layer of metal on the worn surface, restoring size and accuracy. Thermal spraying technology can also be used to spray metal or alloy powder onto the worn area, followed by grinding and processing.

Using repair agents: There are now some polymer composite material repair agents specifically used for repairing metal wear. Apply them to the worn bearing positions, and after curing, they can achieve a certain strength and wear resistance, restoring the fit accuracy between the shaft and the bearing.

Replace shaft: If the wear is severe and the above methods cannot effectively repair it, or if there are other defects such as cracks in the shaft, consider replacing it with a new output shaft. The new shaft material is generally 45 # steel and has undergone quenching and tempering treatment, with a hardness of HB187-229. The dimensional accuracy and surface roughness should comply with relevant standards.

Keyway wear repair

Remaking keyway: If the keyway wear is not severe, the keyway can be remade at the corresponding position of the original keyway, such as increasing the width of the keyway and preparing the corresponding key. However, it should be noted that the new keyway cannot interfere with the original keyway and the strength of the shaft should not be greatly affected.

Welding repair of keyways: For keyways with severe wear, the worn keyways can be cleaned first, then filled with welding, and then reworked to the specified size.

Installation and debugging after maintenance

Parts cleaning: Clean the repaired output shaft and other disassembled parts to remove oil stains, impurities, etc., ensuring that the surface of the parts is clean.
