How to adjust the lubricating oil quantity based on the operating environment of the WPA147-30-A worm gear reducer.

The following is the method for adjusting the amount of lubricating oil based on the working environment of WPA147-30-A worm gear reducer:

High temperature environment: When the working environment temperature is above 40 ℃, it is recommended to increase the oil volume by 3% -5% for every 5 ℃ increase to compensate for evaporation losses and strengthen heat dissipation. For example, if the ambient temperature reaches 45 ℃, increase the recommended oil content by 3% -5%; If it reaches 50 ℃, it will increase by 6% -10% on the original basis. It can also be combined with actual operating conditions. If the oil temperature continues to be too high, in addition to increasing the oil volume, it is necessary to consider strengthening ventilation, installing cooling fans, or using auxiliary cooling measures such as water cooling.

Low temperature environment: When the working environment temperature is below 0 ℃, the lubricating oil must be heated to above 0 ℃ before starting, or low freezing point lubricating oil should be used. Due to the increase in viscosity and decreased fluidity of lubricating oil at low temperatures, excessive oil volume can lead to excessive stirring resistance, increased difficulty in starting, and energy loss. Therefore, the oil volume can be appropriately reduced at this time, but generally not exceeding 10% of the normal oil volume. You can first add 90% -95% of the normal oil volume, and then adjust according to the start-up and operation conditions.

High load condition: If the gearbox is in a high load operation state and the load rate exceeds 80% of the rated power, the oil volume can be increased by 5% -8% to enhance the oil film strength and meet the lubrication and heat dissipation needs. For example, if it is under full load or overload conditions for a long time, the fuel volume needs to be increased accordingly. At the same time, it is necessary to shorten the oil change cycle, such as checking and replacing lubricating oil every 2000 hours, to prevent rapid deterioration of oil quality due to high load work.

Dusty environment: In a dusty environment, dust can easily enter the reducer and contaminate the lubricating oil. It is advisable to increase the oil level appropriately to slightly raise it above the normal oil level line, forming a better oil seal effect and reducing dust intrusion. But it should not be excessive to avoid causing other problems. The specific amount of increase can be determined according to the actual situation such as dust concentration, generally not exceeding 5% -10% of the normal oil volume. At the same time, it is necessary to strengthen the filtration and replacement frequency of lubricating oil, regularly check the oil quality, and replace it promptly if excessive impurities are found.

Moist environment: In a humid environment, attention should be paid to preventing moisture from mixing into the lubricating oil and causing deterioration of the oil quality. It is possible to increase the amount of oil appropriately to raise the oil level, reduce the contact area between air and oil, and lower the possibility of moisture condensation. But the increase should not be too much, preferably 5% -8%, as too much can cause problems such as poor heat dissipation. In addition, lubricating oil with good anti emulsification performance should be selected, and the moisture content in the oil should be regularly checked. If it exceeds the specified value (such as 0.03%), the oil should be treated or replaced in a timely manner.
