What aspects should be paid attention to when matching the transmission of the motor and ZSY250-45-II reducer

The transmission matching between the motor and ZSY250-45-II hard tooth cylindrical gear reducer directly determines the stability, efficiency, and service life of the equipment operation. It needs to be comprehensively controlled from the core dimensions of mechanical characteristics, power parameters, installation accuracy, and working condition adaptation. The following are 12 key precautions, each of which is explained in detail based on the equipment model characteristics and industrial application scenarios:

1、 Core parameter matching (transmission foundation, must correspond accurately)

Rated power matching: meet the load and reserve redundancy

The rated power of the motor should cover the rated input power of the reducer (ZSY250-45-II rated input power is about 55-75kW, subject to the manufacturer's manual), and consider the operating condition factor: 1.1-1.3 times for continuous stable loads and 1.3-1.5 times for impact loads (such as crushers and conveyors) to avoid motor overload or gearbox gears bearing torque beyond the design limit. At the same time, it is necessary to confirm that the motor power does not exceed the maximum allowable input power of the reducer to prevent early fatigue damage to the gears and shaft system.

Matching speed and transmission ratio: ensuring that the output speed meets the operating conditions

The rated speed of the motor (commonly 1480r/min or 980r/min) and the transmission ratio of the reducer (45, two-stage transmission) need to be accurately calculated for the output speed: output speed=motor speed ÷ transmission ratio (such as matching the 1480r/min motor to output about 32.9r/min), which should be consistent with the rated speed required by the load. If the load requires speed regulation, it is necessary to combine the characteristics of the variable frequency motor to ensure that the lubrication, heat dissipation, and gear meshing performance of the reducer are not affected within the speed regulation range (usually 5-50Hz) (attention should be paid to the flow of lubricating grease at low speeds, and the centrifugal force of the gears should be controlled at high speeds).

Torque matching: avoid over torque operation

The output torque of the motor (T=9550 × P/n, P is power kW, n is speed r/min) should be less than the upper limit of the input torque of the reducer, and the output torque of the reducer (input torque x transmission ratio x efficiency) should be greater than the maximum torque required by the load (including starting torque and impact torque). The rated output torque of ZSY250-45-II is approximately 25000-35000N · m (depending on the material and heat treatment), which needs to be confirmed through load calculation to avoid gear impact fracture or shaft deformation during startup.
