How to replace the lubricating grease of WB1285-LD-2065-0.37KW/4 micro cycloidal reducer and how long to replace it

General situation: According to common specifications for the use of cycloidal reducers, newly purchased reducers should undergo the first grease replacement after 300-600 hours of initial operation. Afterwards, under normal usage conditions, that is, working for no more than 10 hours per day and with suitable environmental temperature and other conditions, it is recommended to replace the lubricating grease every 6-12 months.

Special circumstances: If the gearbox runs for more than 10 hours a day, or the working environment temperature is high (over 40 ℃), low (below -15 ℃), or used in harsh environments such as high dust and humidity, the replacement cycle of the lubricating grease should be shortened. Generally, it needs to be replaced every 3-6 months. Gearboxes that have not been used for a long time (usually more than 12 months) must also have their lubricating grease replaced before reuse.

Replacement method

1. Preparation: Stop the machine and cut off the power supply, ensure that the reducer completely stops running, wait for the equipment to cool down to below 40 ℃, and avoid burns. Prepare an appropriate amount of lubricating grease that meets the requirements, and it is recommended to use molybdenum disulfide -2 or ZL-2 lithium based lubricating grease, etc. At the same time, prepare high-pressure oil gun, grease cleaning scraper, non-woven fabric, specialized cleaning agent and other tools.

2. Discharge old grease: Remove the observation hole cover or ventilation cap of the reducer, use a copper scraper to clean along the oil groove at a 45 ° angle, and try to remove more than 90% of the old grease. For some difficult to clean parts, non-woven fabric dipped in specialized cleaning agent can be used for wiping, but care should be taken to avoid residual cleaning agent entering the interior of the gearbox.

3. Cleaning components (optional): If the gearbox has been running for a long time or the interior is dirty, the gearbox can be disassembled, the components can be removed, and a specialized cleaning agent can be used to thoroughly clean each component, removing oil stains, impurities, and metal debris. Then, dry it with a clean cloth or air dry it.

4. Inject new grease: Use a high-pressure grease gun to press new grease into the reducer through the observation hole or ventilation cap hole. The amount of grease injection is generally 1/3-1/2 of the internal volume of the reducer, and should not be too much to avoid generating mixing heat. You can also refer to relevant formulas to calculate the filling amount, such as Q=0.005 × D × B (D is the outer diameter of the bearing/mm, B is the width of the bearing/mm). The grease injection process can be carried out multiple times, with an interval of about 5 minutes between each time, to allow the lubricating grease to fully fill the tooth gaps and bearings
