How to check if the internal gear transmission system of CJY180-63-3KW reducer is normal
Check whether the internal gear transmission system of CJY180-63-3KW reducer is normal, combined with static inspection during shutdown and dynamic monitoring during operation. If necessary, disassemble and inspect the machine. The specific steps and judgment criteria are as follows:
1、 Static inspection during shutdown (no need to disassemble, quick initial judgment)
1. Appearance and sealing status inspection
Observe whether there is oil leakage or seepage at the joint surface of the gearbox body and the oil seal of the input/output shaft. If the seal fails, external dust and moisture can easily enter the box, contaminate the lubricating oil, and accelerate gear wear; Simultaneously leaking oil can lead to insufficient oil and poor lubrication of the gears.

Check if the installation bolts of the reducer and the connecting bolts of the coupling are tightened. Loose bolts can cause shaft vibration during operation, disrupt the normal meshing position of gears, and long-term damage to gear tooth surfaces.
2. Lubricating oil condition inspection
Unscrew the oil level plug or drain plug, and extract a small amount of lubricating oil for observation: Normal lubricating oil should be clear and transparent (new oil) or light brown (after operation), without impurities, emulsification layering, or metal debris precipitation.
If the lubricating oil turns black and viscous, with obvious iron filings or particle impurities, it indicates that there is wear and peeling during the gear meshing process; If the lubricating oil emulsifies (appears milky white), it indicates that water has entered the casing, which can cause rusting of gears and bearings. It is necessary to immediately replace the lubricating oil and investigate the cause of water ingress.
Check if the oil level is between the specified scale lines. Insufficient oil can cause the formation of an effective oil film during gear meshing, resulting in dry friction and wear.
3. Manual turning inspection
Disconnect the motor power supply, loosen the coupling between the reducer and the load equipment, and manually rotate the input shaft or output shaft to feel the rotational resistance and uniformity.
Normal state: Smooth rotation, no jamming or obvious jerking, and consistent resistance in both forward and reverse directions.
Abnormal situation:
Excessive rotational resistance or jamming: It may be due to insufficient gear mesh clearance, tooth surface adhesion, bearing damage, or foreign objects entering the gear mesh area.
There is a noticeable "clunking" feeling when rotating: it may be due to gear tooth breakage, severe tooth surface peeling, or loose gear keyway or gear movement.
