When installing the ZQ400 soft gear surface reducer, how to check the coaxiality of the motor shaft and the reducer input shaft.
When installing the ZQ400 soft tooth surface reducer, the coaxiality between the motor shaft and the reducer input shaft can be checked by the following methods:
Steel ruler and plug gauge inspection method: Place the steel ruler on the large outer circle parallel to the axis of the coupling, making it at a 90 ° angle to the axis, and continuously inspect three points. If the gap between the steel ruler at three points and the outer circle of the coupling at both ends is the same, it indicates that the coaxiality meets the requirements. If the gap is different, a plug gauge can be used to measure the gap size. If the top gap is too large, it indicates that the motor position is too low and needs to be adjusted by adding shims to the motor base.

Dial gauge inspection method: First, perform preliminary calibration by visually comparing the front and back of the docking hand with a steel tape measure, so that the motor and reducer are preliminarily aligned before and after taking over. Then install the dial gauge. If the gearbox is easy to rotate, fix the dial gauge on the gearbox handle. Rotate the gearbox handle once and record the readings of the dial gauge at the upper and lower points; If it is inconvenient for the gearbox to rotate, install the magnetic seat on the motor handle and rotate the motor shaft once to record the reading. Calculate the reading difference between the upper and lower points of the dial gauge, and add a corresponding thickness of gasket at the motor foot screw based on the reading difference. Afterwards, use a dial gauge to measure the front and rear directions of the receiver, calculate and adjust the motor position based on the measurement data, and finally measure again with a dial gauge to confirm whether the coaxiality is within the allowable range.
Laser alignment instrument inspection method: Install the transmitter and receiver of the laser alignment instrument on the motor shaft and the input shaft of the reducer respectively, operate according to the instrument manual, and the instrument will automatically measure and display the coaxiality deviation data of the two axes, including radial deviation and axial deviation. According to the displayed data, adjust the position of the motor, such as adding or removing shims, translating the motor, etc., to make the coaxiality error within the allowable range.
Different reducers have different requirements for coaxiality. If the ZQ400 soft tooth surface reducer adopts coupling transmission, the different coaxiality of the axis usually does not exceed 0.075 millimeters. During the inspection process, it is necessary to strictly follow the requirements to ensure accurate measurement and ensure the installation quality and normal operation of the reducer.
