What other factors besides work environment affect the maintenance cycle of RF87-13.3-11KW gearbox

In addition to the working environment, the following factors can also affect the maintenance cycle of the gearbox:

The frequency of equipment use: Gearboxes that frequently start and stop or run continuously for a long time will accelerate the wear of their internal components, requiring more intensive inspection and maintenance. For example, a gearbox that works continuously for more than 10 hours a day may need to have its lubricating oil replaced every 3 months; Gearboxes that work no more than 10 hours a day can be replaced every 6 months.

Workload: Gearboxes operating at high loads and speeds generate more heat and friction, putting greater stress on components and accelerating fatigue wear, requiring more frequent maintenance. If the gearbox is operated under high load for a long time, it may require maintenance every six months or every quarter; The maintenance cycle for light load and low-speed reducers can be appropriately extended, such as once a year.

The service life of the equipment: As the use time of the reducer increases, the wear and aging of internal components intensifies, and the probability of failure increases, requiring more frequent maintenance. After the running in period of the new equipment, the maintenance interval can be gradually extended according to the usage situation; For devices that have been used for many years, it may be necessary to shorten the maintenance cycle, strengthen inspection and maintenance.

Quality of lubricating oil: High quality lubricating oil can form a good protective film on the surface of components, reduce friction and wear, extend the service life of the reducer, and the maintenance cycle can also be appropriately extended. If poor quality lubricating oil is used, its performance will deteriorate quickly, and it will not be able to effectively protect the equipment, which will lead to a shortened maintenance cycle.

The model and quality of reducers: Different models of reducers have different maintenance cycles due to differences in structural design, manufacturing processes, and material selection. Generally speaking, gearboxes with reliable quality and excellent manufacturing processes can have relatively longer maintenance cycles under normal usage conditions; Some lower quality reducers may be more prone to malfunctions and require more frequent maintenance.

Manufacturer's recommendation: Each gearbox manufacturer will provide recommended maintenance intervals and contents in the maintenance manual based on the design characteristics, material properties, and long-term testing experience of the product. This is an important reference for determining the maintenance interval.

Fault record: By recording the fault history of the gearbox, analyzing the fault mode and frequency, weak links and potential problems of the equipment can be discovered, and maintenance strategies and cycles can be adjusted accordingly. If a gearbox frequently experiences specific faults, it is necessary to shorten the maintenance cycle and strengthen the inspection and maintenance of related components.
