What are the performance parameters of the NGW123-500 planetary gear reducer when the base material is HT250
HT250 is a pearl shaped gray cast iron. When the NGW123-500 planetary gear reducer base is made of this material, its performance parameters are as follows:
1. Chemical composition: Carbon content is 3.16% -3.30%, silicon content is 1.79% -1.93%, manganese content is 0.89% -1.04%, sulfur content is 0.094% -0.125%, and phosphorus content is 0.120% -0.170%.
2. Physical properties
Density: Generally 6.8-7.3g/cm ³.
Thermal conductivity: approximately 45W/(m · K).
3. Mechanical properties

Tensile strength: The minimum as cast strength is 250MPa, which can be increased to 280-315MPa after inoculation treatment.
Hardness: The annealed Brinell hardness is 209HB, and the core hardness after quenching and tempering is HRC28-35.
Wear resistance: Dry sliding wear rate ≤ 0.03mm ³/(N · m).
Vibration damping capacity: The damping coefficient is 3-5 times that of steel.
4. High temperature performance
Heat resistance: below 500 ℃, oxidation rate ≤ 0.1g/(m ² · h), heat deformation ≤ 0.05mm/m.
Creep resistance: Under the conditions of 300 ℃ and 100MPa, the creep fracture time is ≥ 500 hours.
