What are the main components of the NGW102-18 reducer structure

The main structure of NGW102-18 reducer consists of core components such as sun gear, planetary gear, inner ring gear, and planetary carrier. It belongs to the two-stage transmission series of NGW planetary gear reducer and has the characteristics of compact structure and strong load-bearing capacity.

The specific composition of this type of reducer can be decomposed as follows:

1. Sun Wheel
Located at the center of the transmission system, as a high-speed input component, it is directly or through a coupling connected to the motor shaft. Its outer teeth mesh with multiple planetary gears, transmitting power to the planetary gear system.

2. Planetary Wheel
Uniformly distributed around the sun gear, usually 3 or more, installed on the planetary axles of the planetary carrier. The planetary gear meshes with both the sun gear and the ring gear, rotating and revolving during operation, achieving power splitting and deceleration functions.

3. Internal gear ring
Fixed on the inner wall of the gearbox, it is an internal meshing gear structure, and the ring gear does not rotate, serving as a support and reaction force. Its internal teeth mesh with the planetary gear and cooperate with the sun gear to adjust the transmission ratio.

4. Planetary shelf
Supporting and driving the rotation of planetary gears is one of the output components. The planetary carrier converts the orbital motion of the planetary gears into low-speed, high torque rotation of the output shaft, which is directly connected to the load equipment.

The box is made of ductile iron, which has good rigidity and anti vibration performance; Each rotating component is equipped with high-precision rolling bearings to ensure smooth operation of the shaft system.

6. Floating mechanism design
To achieve uniform load distribution, the NGW series often adopts a toothed floating structure, allowing the sun gear or planetary carrier to float axially within a small range, automatically compensating for assembly errors and deformations, and improving transmission reliability.

It is worth noting that NGW102 is a two-stage deceleration model with a transmission ratio of 18, belonging to the medium speed ratio range, suitable for heavy-duty machinery scenarios such as metallurgy, lifting, and transportation. The input speed generally does not exceed 1500r/min, and the gear circumferential speed is ≤ 10m/s.
