What are the contents of the safety operation specifications for the drying method of DCY355-50-2S reducer

The DCY355-50-2S reducer drying method safety operation specification revolves around four dimensions: temperature control, process monitoring, safety protection, and equipment protection, ensuring efficient drying without damaging the equipment.
1、 Preparation before operation (safety foundation)

Stop the machine, cut off the power and hang a warning sign. Wait for the gearbox to cool down to room temperature and confirm that there is no residual high temperature or pressure.

Thoroughly drain the water and oil contained in the box, open the observation hole, ventilation cap, and oil drain port to ensure that moisture can be smoothly discharged.

Check whether the heating equipment (heating strip, infrared lamp) is intact, the insulation performance meets the standard, and avoid the risk of leakage.

Clean up flammable materials and debris around the equipment, designate a safe operating area, and prohibit unrelated personnel from approaching.

Replace aging and damaged seals (oil seals, sealing rings) to avoid moisture exposure again after drying.

2、 Heating equipment installation and parameter setting (core control)

Choose a flexible heating belt (suitable for the curvature of the box) and wrap it evenly around the outside of the box to avoid local overlap and temperature concentration.

Install temperature sensors (thermocouples) closely attached to the surface of the box to ensure real-time monitoring of the actual temperature. The sensors are linked to the temperature controller.

Set temperature controller parameters: heating temperature of 60-80 ℃, heating rate ≤ 5 ℃/hour, to avoid rapid heating that may cause thermal expansion and imbalance of components.

Wrap the heating belt with an external insulation layer (such as glass wool) to reduce heat loss and prevent burns to personnel.

3、 Drying process operation and monitoring (key link)

After starting the heating equipment, check the temperature every 15 minutes for the first hour, and record the temperature data every 30 minutes thereafter to ensure that it does not exceed the temperature limit.

Keep the observation hole and ventilation cap open, and blow the interior with dry, oil-free compressed air every 2 hours to accelerate the elimination of moisture.

Do not dry in a sealed state to avoid damaging the box or ventilation cap due to increased internal pressure.

Observe whether there is any abnormal deformation or odor outside the box. If there is a sudden temperature rise or abnormal equipment noise, immediately stop the machine and cut off the power for troubleshooting.

The drying time should be controlled at 6-8 hours (adjusted according to the degree of moisture), and can be extended to 10 hours for severe moisture, but the temperature needs to be continuously monitored.

4、 Security protection requirements (dual protection of personnel and equipment)

Operators are required to wear heat-resistant gloves and protective goggles, and are prohibited from directly touching heating belts and high-temperature enclosures.

Dry powder fire extinguishers are equipped on site. If there is a short circuit or fire in the heating equipment, immediately cut off the power and extinguish the fire.

Avoid direct contact between heating belts and rubber components such as gearbox junction boxes and oil seals to prevent local high temperature damage to components.

During the drying period, it is prohibited to operate in violation of regulations (such as arbitrarily raising the temperature or removing the insulation layer), and strictly follow the parameters.
