Maintenance method for NGW-S-113-90 planetary gear reducer
The maintenance method of NGW-S-113-90 planetary gear reducer needs to be developed based on its structural characteristics and working environment, including lubrication management, mechanical component inspection, and operation status monitoring. The following are specific maintenance points:
1、 Daily maintenance (daily/shift)

Running status monitoring
Before starting: manually rotate the input shaft to confirm there is no jamming or abnormal noise, and check if the power connection is secure.
During operation: Monitor vibration (amplitude should be ≤ 0.05mm), noise (such as gear friction sound or bearing noise), and the surface temperature of the shell should not exceed 70 ℃ (temperature rise ≤ 30 ℃ when the ambient temperature is 40 ℃).
After shutdown: Check the axial displacement of the output shaft (normally ≤ 0.1mm) and whether the connecting bolts are loose.
Initial inspection of lubrication status
Confirm that the oil level is between the upper and lower limits through the oil level window, and check if there is any oil leakage from the sealing components (such as the shaft end oil seal). If there is slight oil leakage, it needs to be cleaned in a timely manner.
2、 Regular maintenance (executed according to the cycle)
1. Lubrication system maintenance
First run: 100-200 hours (must be replaced after the break in period);
Normal operation: Every 2000-3000 hours under normal working conditions, and every 1000-1500 hours in harsh environments (dust, high temperature, etc.).
Oil change cycle:
Oil selection: Use specialized gear oil (such as ISO VG 150-460 extreme pressure gear oil), switch to synthetic oil in low-temperature environments, and prohibit mixing different brands of oil.
Oil change steps:
After shutdown, wait for the oil temperature to drop below 40 ℃ to drain the old oil;
Add 10% new oil to flush the interior, run for 1-2 minutes, and then drain;
Add new oil to the center line of the oil level window, let it stand for 10 minutes, and then check the oil level again.
2. Mechanical component inspection (every 3000-5000 hours)
Gear meshing status: Remove the observation hole cover to check for pitting and wear on the tooth surface (if the tooth thickness is reduced by more than 10%, it needs to be replaced), and measure the tooth side clearance (such as the normal clearance of modulus 3 gear of 0.1~0.2mm).
Bearing status: Use a listening needle to detect noise, and the temperature of the end cap should not exceed 15 ℃ of the shell temperature. If the clearance exceeds 0.05mm, it needs to be replaced.
Sealing element: Replace the shaft end oil seal preventively every 10000 hours and check whether the O-ring is aging.
3. Inspection of connection and fixing components (every 1000~2000 hours)
Tighten all bolts in diagonal order (such as M8 bolts with a torque of 20-25N · m) to prevent looseness and coaxiality deviation.
3、 Long term shutdown maintenance
At least 1 hour of operation per month, check for dust and rust.
