What are the effects of abnormal heating of KAZ37-6.37-Y0.75KW reducer on the service life of equipment

Abnormal heating of KAZ37-6.37-Y0.75KW reducer can have the following impacts on the lifespan of the equipment:

Increased wear of components: Due to decreased lubrication performance and increased friction between components, the wear of key components such as gears, bearings, and shafts will accelerate. Long term exposure to abnormal heating conditions can cause wear and peeling on the surface of these components, reducing their strength and accuracy, shortening their service life, and requiring more frequent replacement of components, increasing maintenance costs and downtime.

Aging of insulation material: If the reducer is equipped with a motor, abnormal heating will accelerate the aging of the insulation material of the motor. When the temperature exceeds the allowable working temperature of the insulation material, the aging rate of the insulation material will increase exponentially with each increase in temperature, which may cause a short circuit in the motor winding, damage the motor, and ultimately affect the operation of the entire equipment.

On the one hand, leakage will reduce the amount of lubricating oil inside the gearbox, further exacerbating the problem of poor lubrication; On the other hand, leaked lubricating oil may contaminate equipment and the working environment, and may also pose safety hazards.

The overall lifespan of the equipment is shortened: The reducer is an important component of the equipment transmission system, and its performance degradation and component damage can have a chain reaction on the entire equipment. Long term abnormal heating can increase the frequency of gearbox failures, increase the difficulty and cost of maintenance, and ultimately lead to equipment reaching its service life prematurely, requiring overall replacement.
