What are the factors related to the hazards of loose bolts in RX107-3.5-30KW hard tooth gear reducers

The hazards of bolt loosening in  are related to the following factors:

Degree of looseness: When the bolt is slightly loose, it may only cause slight vibration and noise in the gearbox, with little impact on equipment operation. But if the bolts are severely loose, it will cause the connection of the components to be unstable, leading to increased vibration, and may even cause the components to fall off, leading to serious equipment failures and safety accidents.

Loose position: Bolts at different positions are loose, and the degree of harm also varies. For example, loose anchor bolts may cause displacement or even overturning of the gearbox; Loose bolts connecting the casing, end caps, and other parts can damage the sealing of the casing, causing lubricant leakage and affecting the lubrication effect of the gearbox, accelerating component wear.

Operating conditions

Load size: If the reducer is in a high load operating state, the load borne by the connecting parts will be more uneven after the bolts loosen, which can further deteriorate the loosening situation and accelerate the damage of components, such as gears, bearings, etc., which may wear out due to uneven force, and even cause serious problems such as gear tooth breakage and bearing failure, affecting the normal operation of the equipment.

Operating speed: For high-speed reducers, loose bolts can cause stronger vibrations and impacts, resulting in alternating stresses that make components more prone to fatigue damage and shorten the service life of the equipment. Moreover, during high-speed operation, if a component falls off due to loose bolts, the scope of damage and degree of harm caused will also be greater.

Vibration and impact: Operating conditions with significant vibration and impact can make loose bolts more susceptible to additional forces, leading to increased looseness. This vibration and impact can also be transmitted to other components through loose connections, triggering a chain reaction and causing damage to more components.
