How to judge whether the installation coaxiality of NGW-L61-5.6 planetary reducer meets the requirements
To determine whether the installation coaxiality of the NGW-L61-5.6 planetary gearbox meets the requirements, static inspection and dynamic trial operation verification are required to ensure that the coaxiality deviation between the input shaft and the motor shaft, and the output shaft and the load shaft is within the allowable range. Here are the specific methods:
1、 Static inspection: Verify the accuracy of hard fit
1. Base flatness and fit
Tools: Precision level (accuracy ≥ 0.02mm/m), feeler gauge (0.02-1mm specification), dial gauge.

Method:
(1) Place the level on the four diagonal positions and the central area of the reducer base, record the level reading, and ensure that the overall levelness error of the base is ≤ 0.1mm/m.
(2) Insert a feeler gauge into the fitting gap between the reducer base and the installation base. The insertion depth of the feeler gauge on all fitting surfaces should not exceed 10mm (and a 0.05mm feeler gauge should not be able to be inserted).
2. Input/output shaft coaxiality
Tools: dial gauge (with magnetic gauge holder), centering sleeve (or coupling half body).
Method:
(1) On the input shaft side: Place the dial gauge head against the outer circle (or centering reference surface) of the coupling between the motor shaft and the gearbox input shaft, manually rotate the motor shaft once, and record the maximum difference (radial runout) of the dial gauge, which should be ≤ 0.05mm.
(3) Output shaft side: Similarly, rotate the output shaft, with a radial runout of ≤ 0.08mm (the output shaft load is usually larger, and the tolerance can be slightly relaxed, subject to the manufacturer's drawings).
3. Tightening bolt status
Tools: Torque wrench (corresponding to bolt specifications such as M12, M16), torque comparison table (refer to the gearbox installation manual).
Method:
(1) Tighten all fastening bolts of the base in the "diagonal cross order", and the torque must strictly comply with the manufacturer's requirements (such as M12 bolt torque of about 45-55N · m).
(2) The bolts are not loose or loose, and the washers (flat washers+spring washers) are fully installed and fit the base without any gaps (can be checked with a feeler gauge).
2、 Dynamic trial operation verification
1. Trial operation conditions
Run the gearbox without load and observe for any abnormal vibration or noise.
Record the temperature changes during operation to ensure there is no local overheating phenomenon.
2. Influence of coaxiality deviation
If the coaxiality deviation is too large, it will cause gear meshing bias, uneven bearing force on the shaft, accelerated wear, and shortened service life.
It is recommended to select models with a safety factor of ≥ 1.2 times and avoid continuous overload.
