The oil level of the lubrication system of the cycloidal pinwheel reducer can be checked through components such as oil gauges, and adjusted by adding or draining oil according to the inspection results. The specific method is as follows:

Oil level inspection method:

Observation through oil gauge or sight glass: Most cycloidal pinwheel reducers are equipped with oil gauges or sight glass, which can directly check the oil level. The normal oil level height should be in the center position of the oil gauge or sight glass. If it is a tubular oil gauge, the oil level should be at the top position.

Check the oil window scale: Some reducers display the oil level through the oil window, and the oil level should be kept at 1/2 to 2/3 of the oil window position, or just reach the plastic oil cup position as appropriate.

Observing the liquid level of the fuel cup: For some gearboxes with fuel cups, if the liquid level of the fuel cup fluctuates up and down, it indicates that the lubricating oil level is normal. If the liquid level does not fluctuate significantly or is too low, it may indicate insufficient oil level.

Oil volume adjustment method:

Adjustment when oil level is insufficient: If the oil level is found to be below the standard during inspection, lubricating oil needs to be replenished. First, determine the type of lubricating oil. Cycloid pinwheel reducers for general use at room temperature generally use 90 # extreme pressure industrial gear oil, etc. Then unscrew the ventilation cap on the upper part of the reducer, slowly add lubricating oil, and observe the oil level until it reaches the normal oil level height.

Adjustment when the oil level is too high: If the oil level is too high, you can unscrew the oil drain plug at the lower part of the reducer to drain the excess lubricating oil. Pay attention to the oil level during the draining process. When the oil level drops to the normal range, tighten the drain plug. If the lubricating oil overflows due to excessive oil volume, it is necessary to clean up the overflowing lubricating oil in a timely manner and check whether the sealing components are damaged. If there is any damage, it should be replaced in a timely manner.
