What are the specific lubrication methods to improve the performance of DBY280-22.4-II gear reducer

Improving the performance of DBY280-22.4-II gear reducer can be achieved by selecting appropriate lubricants, determining lubrication methods, controlling oil levels, and conducting regular maintenance. The specific lubrication methods are as follows:

Choose the appropriate lubricant: Select according to the operating conditions, workload, and speed of the gearbox. It is recommended to use lubricating oil or grease with good adhesion, extreme pressure, and wear resistance. If the gearbox is in a high-temperature environment, it is necessary to choose lubricating oil with good thermal stability; In humid environments, lubricating oil with good rust resistance and emulsion resistance should be selected.

Determine lubrication method: If the circumferential speed of the gear is greater than 12m/s, oil injection lubrication can be used. Oil is supplied at a certain pressure through an oil pump or central oil supply station, and lubricating oil is sprayed onto the meshing surface of the gear teeth through a nozzle. The nozzle position is determined based on the gear circumferential velocity. If the circumferential speed of the gear is less than 12m/s, it is suitable to use oil immersion lubrication. The teeth of the large gear are immersed in an oil pool, and the lubricating oil is brought to the meshing tooth surface during gear transmission. At the same time, heat dissipation is achieved through oil throwing. It is important to note that the depth of immersion of the gear into the oil should be moderate.

Control oil quantity: The amount of oil in the oil tank needs to be determined based on the power transmitted by the gears. Generally speaking, for every 1kW of power transmitted by a single-stage transmission, the required oil volume is about 0.35L-0.7L, while for a multi-stage transmission, the required oil volume increases exponentially according to the number of stages. Excessive oil volume can increase mixing loss and heat generation, while insufficient oil volume may lead to insufficient lubrication, both of which can affect lubrication effectiveness and even cause malfunctions.

Regular inspection and replacement: Regularly check the quality and quantity of lubricating oil, check whether the lubricating oil is clean and free of impurities. If the color of the oil becomes darker, the viscosity changes, or there is an odor, it may be due to oil aging or contamination, and should be replaced in a timely manner. At the same time, ensure that the oil level is within the normal range and replenish lubricating oil in a timely manner. Also, check the operation status of the lubrication system to ensure that components such as the oil pump and nozzle are working properly.

Pay attention to cleaning and protection: Keep the gearbox clean to prevent dust, impurities, and other pollutants from entering the lubrication system. For open or semi open gear reducers, the surface of the gears should be regularly cleaned of dirt and impurities to ensure lubrication effectiveness.
