What tools are needed to check the noise of ZSY315-63-1 gear reducer

When checking the noise of ZSY315-63-1 gear reducer, the following tools are required:

Noise measurement tool:

Sound level meter: used to measure the noise pressure level during the operation of the gearbox, in order to determine whether the intensity of the noise meets relevant standards. The overall noise level of the gearbox can be obtained through a sound level meter, providing a quantitative basis for determining whether the noise is abnormal.

Spectrum analyzer: It can perform frequency analysis on noise and identify the main noise sources, such as gear meshing, bearing rolling, motor vibration, and other noise components with different frequencies. By analyzing the spectral characteristics of noise, the cause of noise can be more accurately located.

Vibration measurement tool:

Vibration analyzer: collects vibration signals during the operation of the reducer, and determines the gear meshing state or bearing wear degree by analyzing parameters such as amplitude and frequency of vibration. Abnormal vibration is often associated with noise issues, and vibration analyzers can help detect potential mechanical failures.

Acceleration sensor: It can measure the acceleration changes during the operation of the gearbox, further analyze the characteristics and sources of vibration, and provide more data support for noise analysis.

Mechanical inspection tools:

Stethoscope: By placing a stethoscope close to different parts of the gearbox, such as bearings, gears, etc., internal sounds can be heard more clearly, determining the specific location and type of noise, such as clicking, buzzing, sharp sounds, etc., in order to preliminarily determine the cause of the fault.

Dial gauge and magnetic gauge holder: used to measure parameters such as gear mesh clearance and axial movement of bearings, to determine whether the installation and fit of mechanical components are normal. Excessive clearance or abnormal movement may cause noise.

Feeler gauge: It can be used to measure the clearance between the meshing side of the worm gear, the clearance between the bearing seat and the housing joint surface, etc., to determine whether the fitting accuracy between the components meets the requirements.

Torque wrench: When checking whether the installation bolts of the motor base and gearbox are loose, it is necessary to use a torque wrench to tighten them to the rated torque to ensure a firm installation and prevent increased vibration and noise caused by loose bolts.

Level gauge: measures the horizontal deviation of the motor base plane. Excessive horizontal deviation may cause uneven force on the shaft system, leading to abnormal vibration and noise.

Laser centering instrument or dial gauge: used to measure the coaxiality between the motor shaft and the load shaft. If the centering deviation is too large, periodic impact noise will be generated during operation, and these tools need to be used for detection and adjustment.

Oil testing tool:

Oil sampler: Collect lubricating oil samples from the gearbox for oil analysis.

Oil analyzer: By analyzing indicators such as metal particles, viscosity, and moisture in the oil, it can determine whether internal components are worn or lubricated properly. Abnormal oil conditions may also be related to noise issues.
