How to prevent lubrication system failure of BWY9205-87-11KW cycloidal pinwheel reducer

To prevent the lubrication system failure of BWY9205-87-11KW cycloidal pinwheel reducer, a systematic prevention mechanism should be established around the four core links of "oil management, sealing protection, daily inspection, and standardized operation" to avoid the risk of lubrication failure from the source. The specific steps can be divided into the following six key steps:

1、 Strictly control lubricating oil: selecting the right model, regularly replacing, and supplementing lubricating oil in a standardized manner are the core of the lubrication system. The selection, replacement cycle, and replenishment method directly determine the lubrication effect, and special attention should be paid to:

1. Accurate selection, rejecting mixing

Strictly follow the requirements of the gearbox manual to select the lubricating oil model (usually N46 or N68 extreme pressure industrial gear oil, subject to the manufacturer's labeling), which must meet the three core indicators of "wear resistance, oxidation resistance, and emulsification resistance". It is strictly prohibited to mix lubricating oils of different brands and viscosity grades - after mixing, the oil additives may undergo chemical reactions, leading to a sudden drop in lubrication performance (such as a decrease in oil film strength and the formation of sludge).

2. Fixed cycle replacement to avoid exceeding the service life

First use: After running the new machine for 200-300 hours, the lubricating oil must be replaced (metal debris will be generated during the running in period, and if not replaced in time, it will contaminate the new oil).

Normal use: Replace every 2000-3000 hours (or quarterly, whichever comes first) thereafter; If the equipment operates in harsh environments (such as high temperature, high dust, and humidity), the replacement cycle should be shortened to 1500-2000 hours.

When replacing, it is necessary to thoroughly drain the old oil (including residual oil at the bottom of the box and dead corners of the oil circuit), and clean the oil tank and oil label to avoid contamination of the new oil by impurities in the old oil.

3. Standardize and supplement, control oil level

Observe the oil level through the oil gauge in daily life to ensure that the oil level is always between the "lowest oil level line - highest oil level line" (not lower than the lowest line, otherwise lubrication is insufficient; nor higher than the highest line, otherwise it will increase oil stirring resistance and cause oil temperature to rise). When adding lubricating oil, it is necessary to first clean the dust around the oil injection port to prevent impurities from entering the box with the oil; Recheck the oil level after supplementation to prevent excess or insufficien.
