Introduce the maintenance process for gear damage in the SF87-Y4-4P-45.28-M4-0 helical gear reducer.

The repair process for gear damage of SF87-Y4-4P-45.28-M4-0 hard tooth reducer is as follows:

1. Fault diagnosis:

Observation of appearance: Check whether the gearbox has oil leakage, shell cracks or deformations, loose connection parts, etc., and preliminarily determine whether the gear damage is related to these factors.

Listening to sound: By listening to the sound of the gearbox during operation, determine if there are any abnormal noises, such as sharp friction sounds, periodic impact sounds, etc., to determine if the gears are damaged.

Temperature detection: Touch or use a thermometer to measure the temperature of the gearbox housing. If the temperature is too high, it may be caused by gear damage leading to increased friction.

Check vibration: feel if there is any abnormal vibration in the gearbox, and use a vibration detector for more accurate measurement. Excessive vibration may be related to gear damage.

Monitoring performance indicators: Check whether the output speed and torque meet the requirements, observe whether the efficiency decreases, and determine whether gear damage affects the transmission performance of the reducer.

2. Preparation work:

Determine tools and materials: Prepare the necessary tools for maintenance, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, tooth thickness calipers, dial gauges, etc., as well as the required materials, such as seals, lubricants, nickel based welding rods, etc.

Ensure a safe and tidy maintenance environment: Clean up the maintenance site, ensure sufficient space for operations, and pay attention to safety measures such as fire prevention and anti slip.

Dismantling the gearbox: Remove the gearbox from the equipment, pay attention to marking the connection parts and dismantling sequence for reference during installation.

3. Dismantling the gearbox:

Gradually remove the casing, gears, bearings, and other components of the gearbox in the order of disassembly.

During the disassembly process, pay attention to protecting the parts from damage, place the disassembled parts properly, and prevent missing parts.

4. Parts inspection and cleaning:

Carefully inspect the parts: Check the surface of the gear for scratches, pitting, peeling, broken teeth, etc. Use a tooth thickness caliper and dial gauge to measure the wear of the tooth thickness, or determine the degree of gear damage by the meshing clearance. At the same time, check whether the clearance of the bearings has increased, and whether the seals are aging or damaged.

Cleaning parts: Clean the removed parts to remove oil stains, impurities, etc. for better inspection and maintenance.

5. Repair or replace parts:

Slight wear: If there is slight wear on the gear tooth surface, the method of grinding the tooth surface can be used for repair. Use specialized gear grinding paste and use grinding tools to grind back and forth along the tooth surface, remove surface burrs and minor scratches, and restore the roughness of the tooth surface. After grinding, thoroughly clean the gears and housing with kerosene, and replace all lubricating oil.
