Introduction

NGC has been focused on the R&D and manufacturing of wind energy gearboxes for over twenty years. Through a process of continuous technological innovation and development in the wind energy industry, our products offer high reliability, high torque density, high efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. They have passed certifications from authoritative institutions at home and abroad, including DNV, UL, TUV-NORD, TUV-SUD, CCS, CGC, CQC, ETL, and CE. We have provided more than 115,000 main gearboxes for well-known OEMs, which are all working reliably at various wind farms in over thirty countries worldwide.

Reliable products are a result of continuous technological upgrade and innovation, with thorough validation of product components during the development process. In the design of the main gearbox, we consider the actual operating conditions of the wind turbine. Based on the load spectrum, we perform precise systematic calculations and analyses of the gearbox components and conduct rigorous verification tests that simulate real-world conditions, such as no-load tests, loading tests, overspeed and overload tests, extreme load tests, accelerated life tests, and low-temperature tests.

NGC StanGear^TM and NGC WinGear^TM Wind Energy Main Gearbox Platforms

After years of development, our wind energy main gearboxes are now available in two major product platforms: NGC StanGear^TM and NGC WinGear^TM. Their planetary gears feature rolling bearings and sliding bearings, respectively, which are better suited to the wind turbine gear transmission system, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operation of wind turbine units.

These two major product platforms comprise the SMG standard models and CMG custom models, depending on customer needs. The SMG boasts higher reliability, shorter development cycles and superior costs, while the CMG is a new generation of products developed according to specific customer requirements.

Our products are suitable for a variety of operating environments including low and high temperatures, low wind speed, high altitude, deserts, and offshore conditions, with power coverage ranging from 1.5 MW to 20+ MW.
